Main Street during a stampede parade, taken in
July of 1941:

In 1950, I rode in the Stampede parade. My grandpa Buddy (Rueben
Smith) is holding me:

Bill Jacobi (who was an owner of the D&J Bar), taken in about 1955:

Frank Hanel, Jr. sent me these amazing old color
parade photos. I
believe this was in July of 1948:

Businesses on main street from left
to right in this photo as I remember them: The First State Bank,
The Fad, Wolf Point Bakery, Norby's Sweet Shoppe, Butzie's, Neutgens
Meat Market, the D & J Bar, the pool hall and Ralph's Bar:

Hank
Arndt, Sr., frequently drove his 1926
Dodge in the Stampede parades (July 1960): I also got to
borrow the car to take it to the Sundown Drive-In. It had
the biggest back seat area of any car I have ever driven!
